I think that these accusations of him cheating are ridiculous. Anyone can get those Speedos to race in if they wanted and anyone can listen to their iPod if they wanted. People need to just except the fact that Michael Phelps is amazing.

dude, put me on his back and that guy will still smoke everyone out there…there isn’t a swimmer out there that actually thinks he wins because he cheats. they know he’s better and respect that. they’re just honored to be swimming next to the greatest athlete who’s ever lived…bold call?
Yeah he’s backing it up. Already the greatest Olympic athlete of all time- but he’s not even done- they’re talking about him repeating this in 4 and even 8 years from now. He could eventually set a mark of 20 gold medals - career. That’s insane. He’s single handedly hauled in about half of the America’s gold medals.

His swimsuit does make him swim faster, but i am glad it was partially developed by a professor from the college I graduated from - Iowa State University. It’s not an unfair advantage. Anyone could develop a streamlined swimsuit. I don’ tbelieve he is cheating at all. He is just meant to win.
