The first one is that his Speedo outfit is making him swim faster and there’s this other ridiculous rumor that him listening to his iPod is making him faster (supposedly listening to music improves blood oxygen capacity and is a performance enhancement).

I think that these accusations of him cheating are ridiculous. Anyone can get those Speedos to race in if they wanted and anyone can listen to their iPod if they wanted. People need to just except the fact that Michael Phelps is amazing.

Michael Phelps is an awesome swimmer, no doubt about it, but the media are making him out to be some sort of male supermodel. Yes, he has a good body, but as far as his ****** features go, he’s an average looking guy. It’s amazing how the media can turn a person of average looks into some sort of super-stud.
